Lancaster/Northumberland Habitat for Humanity is part of Habitat for Humanity International, a global nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. We welcome volunteers and supporters regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views, or any other distinctions. We build with people in need from all backgrounds. Our local affiliate has been building homes in our community since 1996 and is currently working on Home #21.

How it Works

People in our community partner with us to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners build their own homes alongside volunteers, and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, those homeowners achieve the independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
