Working with Habitat as a Volunteer is a safe and rewarding thing to do.  Without our Volunteers, we would not be able to do the work we do for our community.

As a Habitat Volunteer, you will learn new skills, whether working in the ReStore, doing administrative work, or at a construction site.  Volunteer work schedules are very flexible.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Habitat Build Sites – No construction experience is necessary. Many first-time volunteers have never picked up a hammer or paint brush!
• Habitat ReStore – If you enjoy a fast paced, fun and rewarding retail environment that strives to provide outstanding donor and customer service, then the ReStore would be a great volunteer opportunity for you!
• Donation Pickups – Help our dedicated crew of volunteers picking up donations from homes and businesses around the NNK
• Building Site Hospitality – Provide refreshments for the hard working volunteers on work days
• Administrative Support – Administrative support includes all kinds of office work:
  • Print/mail the newsletter
  • Text writing
  • Photography
  • Assist with planning/organizing functions
  • Assist with Volunteer management
  • Manage our real estate portfolio and qualify potential real estate contributions
